The Design

In the long tradition of love of country, The Americana Mug by America The Beautiful^® is an American flag banner which is wrapping its full surface. The white of the ceramic flag mug makes the backdrop for this red white and blue all-American flag mug design. The white forms the stars in the flag’s blue field, and the white flag stripes around the bottom. Around the top of the mug is a blue band representing the flag’s star field with big American stars in white all the way around the rim. Vertically around the mug’s lower half are the flag’s red and white stripes. The RWB flag mug is belted around its mid-point by the most excellent and patriotic phrase “America The Beautiful.” The artwork is distressed in a vintage manner to recognize and honor our long heritage of bravery and sacrifice by so many of us for good and for freedom. The world's most beloved flag. In The Americana Mug’s its historic melding of these elements, a new American icon is born. Conceived and roughed out by Martin, but our family’s’ artist Kem made it good.
