Design Story

The hand-drawn artwork on this youth t-shirt was done by our artist Kem working with one our of family’s owners Martin to make it meaningfully awesome. When the kids were little Martin and Janet took them to NYC and visited the Museum of Natural History where, as he is want to do, Martin managed to distract them until they had been maneuvered to right underneath the huge standing tyrannosaurus rex fossil in the lobby, at which point in time much drama briefly ensued, which perhaps accounts for a certain amount of their adult caution and situational awareness. So of course the America The Beautiful^® brand absolutely has to offer youth graphic tees with these very early all-Americans!

This Design

The design features a drawing of a Tyrannosaurus rex skull that was discovered right here in the USA! It is surrounded by the names of the states in which T-Rex fossils have been found. It in encircled by the words AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL around the top and counter-balanced with two of America’s core characteristics around the bottom: AWESOME, WILD. Positively American^™!
